I am now retired, but my days are filled with doing errands and visiting people in the Village who are lonely and on their own.
I still get asked for advice on financial matters and mortgages by neighbours and friends who know that I was in that profession, which I am willing to give.
I have been married to Gillian since 1990 and I have 3 Stepchildren, 5 Grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter.
My favourite Hymn is "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty".
My Favourite Bible Passage is : Romans Chapter 5 : Verses 1 - 5 :-
"Therefore since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. whom He has given us."
I was Baptised and Married in the Three Counties Church in Haslemere which Gilly and I attended. We then became very friendly with Tim who became the Pastor at Chiddingfold Baptist Church, so we decided that God wanted us to attend our local Church instead of going to Haslemere every Sunday.
